The PathHunter OPRK1 eXpress kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This kit assesses ligand (e.g. dynorphin A) based activation of OPRK1 GPCR activity via detection of β-arrestin recruitment. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged OPRK1 and EA-tagged β-Arrestin-2. Activation of OPRK1 stimulates the recruitment of β-Arrestin-2 and produces EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates. Cayman Chemical Adipogenesis Assay Kit
Cayman’s Adipogenesis Assay provides the reagents required for studying the induction and inhibition of adipogenesis in the established 3T3-L1 model, using the adipogenesis induction procedure. This kit can also be used to screen drug candidates involved in adipogenesis. The classic Oil Red O staining for lipid droplets is used in this kit as an indicator of the degree of adipogenesis, and can be quantified with a plate reader after the dye is conveniently extracted from the lipid droplet.
Montana Molecular Borealis Arrestin PTH1R Assay - 10mL
Measure arrestin signaling kinetics in real time with the live cell, fluorescent Borealis arrestin - PTH1 receptor assay. Add the unmodified PTH1 receptor and Borealis sensor to cells and measure robust signals the next day on an automated plate reader or fluorescence imaging system. This assay is genetically encoded and packaged in BacMam for efficient transduction in most cell types - including uniform and near 100% efficiency in HEK293 cells as well as expression in many primary or iPSC-derived cells. The kit includes the arrestin sensor BacMam, PTH1R BacMam, 500mM sodium butyrate in H2O, and a positive control receptor and agonist (AT1R BacMam and 5mM Angiotensin II in H2O). Borealis kits for several other receptors are also available, and larger-sized kits are available on request. Other Montana Molecular tools including the cADDis cAMP sensor can be used alongside this assay.

The cAMP Hunter CALCRL-RAMP3 eXpress kit provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates (small molecules or biologics) targeting GPCRs. This kit assesses ligand (e.g. adrenomedullin) based activation of CALCRL (paired with RAMP3) GPCR activity via detection of increasing levels of intracellular cAMP. This product uses EFC technology. The cells overexpress wild type CALCRL, a naturally Gs coupled GPCR, alongside modulator protein RAMP3. Reactive oxygen species (ROS), such as superoxide and hydrogen peroxide, are constantly produced during metabolic processes in all living species. Superoxide dismutase (SOD), which catalyzes the dismutation of the superoxide anion into hydrogen peroxide and molecular oxygen, is one of the most important antioxidative enzymes. SOD enzymes are classified into three groups: cytosolic Cu/Zn-SOD, mitochondrial Mn-SOD, and extracellular Ec-SOD. The OxiSelect™ Superoxide Dismutase Activity Assay is a fast and reliable kit for the measurement of SOD activity from cell lysate, plasma, serum, tissue homogenates. The assay uses a xanthine/xanthine oxidase (XOD) system to generate superoxide anions. The included chromagen produces a water-soluble formazan dye upon reduction by superoxide anions. Each kit provides sufficient reagents to perform up to 100 assays, including blanks, SOD standards and unknown protein samples.
